1. Service Description

WittIoT provides a cloud platform for managing hyperlocal weather stations. The service includes device management, real-time and historical data visualization, data sharing, and API access for third-party integrations.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide a valid email address for account registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• You must be at least 16 years old to use this service

3. Data Ownership

Your weather data belongs to you. WittIoT stores and processes your data solely to provide the service. You can export your data at any time via the API and delete your account to remove all stored data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' devices or data
• Abuse the API by exceeding rate limits or performing denial-of-service attacks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use the service to collect or store personal information of others without consent

5. API Usage

• API access requires a valid API key or session token
• Rate limits apply: 100 requests/minute for authenticated users, 30/minute for public endpoints
• API keys must be kept confidential; compromised keys should be revoked immediately
• We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms

6. Device Sharing

When you share your device data with other users, you grant them read-only access to the sensor data you specify. You can revoke sharing at any time. Public visibility means anyone with the shortcode can view selected data fields.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

WittIoT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or decisions made based on weather data.

9. Modification of Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
